Association holds grand celebration for SVC diamond jubilee anniversary, Dec 9

The St. Vincent’s College Okwagbe Old Students’ Association has finalised arrangements to hold the diamond jubilee celebration of the College founded in 1963.
In a statement released by the Association’s National President, Prof Godini Gabriel Darah; Chairman, Central Organising Committee, Prof Emperor Kpangban and National Secretary, Mr Matthew Shaguolo stated that the Chief Executive Officer of Sylva Link Hotel, Elder Sylvester S. Pela (JP) will chair the event scheduled to hold on Saturday, December 9, 2023 at the College Ground by 9:00am.
The statement disclosed that the Bishop of the Catholic Diocese of Warri, Most Rev Dr Anthony Ovayero Ewherido and the Okobaro of Ughievwen Kingdom, HRM Dr (ROTN) Matthew Ediri Egbi (JP, FoD, AMNSE) Owahwa II will serve as the Spiritual and Royal fathers of the day respectively.
The Delta State Commissioner for Basic and Secondary Education, Mrs Rose Ezewu is expected to commission a block of three classrooms renovated by the Association.
